Bailey Is With Pocha Now
My family and I have had to say 'goodbye' again - this time to our youngest kitty, Bailey. She was just eight years old, but had diabetic neuropathy and was losing sensation in her back legs and tail. The vet said she'd have to take two needles a day, live on one level of the house only and would eventually become incontinent. Not a good standard of life, is it?
When my father and I brought Bailey home she was a tiny little thing. She got a head cold soon after coming home and sneezed like crazy. Flying cat snot - yay! She was a simple cat. She looked for a little bit a love from us and gave back a whole bunch more. She loved to eat. She had a quiet little meow for being such a big kitty. She had a beautiful shiny black coat of fur with a little white bib on her chest. She was a gorgeous cat.
We're all in a bit of shock because we didn't know she was sick. One day she was fine, the next day she was at the vet's and a few days later she was dead. I didn't get to be there when she was put to sleep because she was in Hamilton, so my parents and my sister were with her and they told her that we loved her and that she was going to be with Pocha and they asked her to say hello to Pocha for us. I really hope she didn't suffer too much.
Bye bye Bailey. You were one heck of a kitty! We miss you.
